
The Digital Advocacy Hub is n-compass’ online resource centre, supporting face to face delivery through the regional advocacy hubs, by providing information and support to individuals 24/7.
The Digital Advocacy Hub is in three parts. The hub is launching with 1) Information; 2) Personal Development and 3) Skill Development will be published soon. The hub is constantly evolving , to make existing and future content as meaningful as possible we would value your views on any additional resources you feel would be helpful. This section contains reference sheets, such as explaining key rights under the Care Act, The Mental Health Act or the Mental Capacity Act. Items in this section are mostly factual in nature, we try to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date, to enable clients to be well briefed.
We recognise that speaking up for oneself can sometimes be daunting. In this section we aim to support and empower clients with personal development, growth and wellbeing. Broadly, this section explores personal and interpersonal topics.
This section is aimed at helping people with technical skills. We aim to support individuals to master tasks with the resources in this section. Our starting point is information about Self Advocacy.”
